Under the slogan „Conducting outpatient research – linking knowledge – shaping care“The first research symposium organised by the Baden-Württemberg Research Practice Network (FoPraNet-BW) took place in Stuttgart on 21 November 2025.”.
In the presence of a large number of representatives of members of the public and patients, GP practices, the Association of General Practitioners, the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians and the Baden-Württemberg State Medical Association-Württemberg, as well as funding bodies and state ministries, a comprehensive and fascinating insight was provided into the work carried out to date by FoPraNet-BW and the planned establishment, from 2026, of a general practitioner register focusing on obesity and prevention. A particular highlight was the lively exchange between the various participants in the panel discussion. The event was a resounding success! Interested parties and those involved took the opportunity to exchange views, network and round off the evening together.
