This guide was produced as part of the DESAM-ForNet research symposium „zu Gast bei SaxoForN“. Staff from numerous general practice research centres came together at the research symposium in Frankfurt am Main to
their experiences with the active involvement of patients, members of the public, GPs and medical assistants in research
to replace.
Writing groups were subsequently formed to draft the individual chapters. The guidance document also incorporates the findings of the DESAM-ForNet citizens’ conference, at which citizens and patients from all DESAM-ForNet research practice networks had gathered the day before.
