Official launch of the INDUCT study on intermittent fasting in obesity

As part of the study, the innovative, digitally supported concept for standardised study management within a research practice network – developed by the IT team at Reutlingen University – is being tested in a real-world setting for the first time. To this end, all study-related records and documents have been made available within the central study management software. The research practices participating in FoPraNet-BWPLUS can therefore now register via their Practice Study Manager software to take part in the randomised controlled intervention trial, as well as view all digitised study documents and download them if required. Data collection by the GP research tandems is also carried out via the Practice Study Manager (PStM). A generous three-month window has been set for the initial patient enrolment phase, so that not all practices need to start at the same time. The participating GP research practicesPLUS This gives them the opportunity to gradually gain their first practical experience of research and this new method of collecting research data.
