The Baden-Württemberg Research Practice Network (FoPraNet-BW) was once again represented at this year’s DEGAM Congress with numerous specialist talks, practical workshops and presentations. This year’s annual conference featured a special first: to mark DEGAM’s 60th anniversary, the congress was organised for the first time in collaboration with three other renowned professional societies – the German Society for Social Medicine and Prevention (DGSMP), the Evidence-Based Medicine Network (EbM-Netzwerk) and the German Society for Medical Sociology (DGMS).
A particular highlight of the interdisciplinary programme was the 1st Citizens’ Day. This innovative format brought citizens, patients and researchers together on an equal footing to engage in direct dialogue. The focus was on fostering valuable dialogue, with the aim of learning from one another and jointly developing visionary ideas for the future of healthcare.
